Hi all!

I have made it to ATL!

I didn't get on the forum in the week before we left - barely had time for sleep, let alone anything else :-/

It's warm here at the moment - mid 20's celsius. Having a ball fighting against the fact I dont' have a social security number yet, and the federal government requires an SSN to be filedin triplicate if you wish to do so much as fart in public. Which anybody who has met me will appreciate is something I am likely to need to do

No house yet - waiting on sale of my house in the UK first. I wave goodbye to my wife and 2 kids tomorrow as I pack them on a plane up to stay with her parents in NY, while I kip in the spare room of some friends here for a few months  On the upside, I just booked flights up to see them at Thanksgiving. Right now (unless we get a house between now and then), we're not even sure if we'll make it to see eachother for Christmas. *sigh*

Still, this is the price we pay I guess.

Thank you all for your kind wishes, and once we get settled down in a house and start to actually enjoy the lifestyle as a family, then I'll be able to unpack my PC from storage and start gaming... fingers crossed!
