Wake Island with it's AAS route is on the server for testing tonight. It's up to bat after karkand.

Blunt

woo-hoo! :D

I enjoy this map on TG...

hope it works with fewer players/AAS

...with much thanks to our very own Liberator for doing the coding :D

Liberator

Okay, the flag tips don't work on it due to some internal naming changes from the original maps and the Wake Island map.

Anti-Clockwise is the way to go.

USMC -> South Base -> Beach -> Airfield -> North Base -> North Village <- China

I had flag tips working in this version, but it stopped tips on all the others.

We had some good games on wake tonight. My only criticism is the flag capture radius <_< .

BB would it be possible to load the map pack on the server and if there are any good maps there maybe our very own AAS expert could see about AASing them :D

Blunt

Good games on wake....

n1 Lib

I didn't mind the capture radius....it seemed to work with the small number we had...4v4ish...but would suck with a full server IMHO

so maybe a bit smaller :eyebrow:

I knew that would be next, I've already checked them out and it my take me a while to code them.

They all have completely different naming standards to the original maps, Strike at Karkand II is the closest, as it resembles the Wake Island CP naming.

As for the rest....

Not impossible to do, but would involve a bit more of a rewrite.

If I got it to work it would mean any map would be possible, but they would all involve hard coding for the capture sequence. Thats nothing new, as the orignals are all hard coded as well.

If Lib can work his magic I can install the map-pack :D
