dMw has had a slightly more controlled attitude to coarse language on the forums than SoG has had to date, this is why the SoG section is private and what goes on in here is not seen by other dMw members.  However those sections of the WoW topic that are public, please remember to use your moderation rights to remove offensive language - if you look around the site you'll get a good idea of what is and is not considered acceptable.

One of the forum topics you may not have noticed yet is 'Compost Corner'.  If you find things which are banal, offensive or generally not worthy of forum space then throw them in there using the 'Move' function.

The reason we keep some is to hold as 'evidence' in case we ever get a complaint.  Litigious world we live in and all that......

Simple things like double posts or non-offensive stuff doesn't need to be put in there, just delete it.

UPLOAD OPTION
You may have noticed that there is an 'upload' option to attach a file to a post.  Members do not have this permission, but you do.  Please be selective about what you choose to upload - doing so allows any reader to download the file from the forums, so the bandwidth usage can go through the roof if we are not careful.  Most of the time we simply make a link to the web source, but if we need to say transfer a CTraidtracker log or something between officers then please feel free to do so.
