Yesterday Vargen asked if I could come with him to BRD to do a Golem Lord/Jailbreak run with his alt Whitefang.  "Shure", I though, that sounds like fun.  Even though I've been there a couple of times, I still find that instance pretty ok to do :)

I got the first punch in the face as soon as I got invited into the party - try and guess what classes the rest of the party member were... 2 more hunters in addition to Whitefang, which makes it a total of 3 (THREE!!), and one more druid    Can you call this a well balanced party?  I think NOT :g:

"But what the heck", I though - this can be a fun challange, and I like challanges 8)

Just take a look at this gang:

We decided that I should be healer, the other druid tank, and the hunters.... well like 3 MAs or something - whatever hunters doo ;)

The first pulls went pretty ok, but just after we passed over those gates that lead to Lord Incendius (yes, it's the place where Kreuz fell out the window and into the lava one of his first times there :P ), our tank druid pulled a couple of fire elementals, and he was dead in a second.  It came out that he had started the run with almost all his gear red... that's a good start - n00b :ranting:

We told him to go repair on his way back, and soon we were ready to continue.  From there it went pretty good again - all until we were about to start clearing the room before the Golem Lord...  Cause the thing was, that that other druid showed himself to be some real kind of fruit cake:
Instead of standing on top of the stairs down to the big room before the Golem Lord and let a hunter pull small groups of mobs up to us, he seemed to think it was a good idead to run around jumping downstairs making all kind of wierd pulls.  And did he ever check if the one healer in the party had enough mana before he started.... NO
But by some kind of miracle (which I think was my l33t healing ;) ) we actually all survived that room as well (had to battleress that wacko "tank" druid once, but other thatn that it went ok).  And afterward, the lord himself went down without too much trouble too :)

Oh, and just another thing - being in a party with 3 hunters can really freak you out when you're the healer.  First of all, they all bring their bloody pets (together with that druid in bear form, it was like having a run with a whole zoo...), meaning I had 8 people to heal, instead of the normal 5 (yes, I know I could just let the hunters take care of their own pets, but I don't like to see things die in my party  ).
And if that weren't enough, the hunters tend to use feign death every now and than, which actually is a good thing, but it almost gave me a hart attack sometimes: we've had a bad pull, I'm trying to heal like crazy, somebody is taking a shitload of damage, and BAM, he is dead... or at least so I thought.  I was VERY happy every time I saw it was only FD

And if all that weren't enough, one of the other hunters in the party (no, I'm actually not talking about Whitefang now), appeared to be a total nut case...
First of all, he found out in this run that there are something called "Dark Iron Residue" which you can turn in for rep at the Thorium Brotherhood, and he was going like "I now have 90 DIR, is this enough?", "What about now, I have 127 DIR, will this do"....
And this wasn't the only thing he were braging about all the time:  He apparently didn't know that you have to clear quite a lot before you can actually start doing Jailbreak, and when it was 30 minutes left until he had to leave, he starting to announce that almost every minute: "Have to go in 30", "Have to go in 25 ", "Have to go in 20", "Have to go in 19", "Have to go in 18", and so on....
I felt lik just freeking out and go "MAN, WTH, CAN'T YOU JUST STFU AND GET THE H*** OUT OF HERE" :ranting:
But I didn't... you know, since I'm such a calm and balanced person :roflmao:

He left just when we had cleared the whole place, but luckily we got a replacement (don't quite remember, but it was a lock from SoG (thank god, not another hunter ;) )).

But it went as it often goes with PuGs... we whiped, and Vargen didn't get to do his Jailbreak :(

But I do have to say, that it in a strange and wierd way actually was kind of fun - so the next try you're gonna have Vargen, let's try and do it with 4 hunters, can't we :D

As I stated earlier in this thread Neff, I seriously doubt that you do enough homework (due to too much WoW playing)...  Could somebody please explain to Neff the meaning of the phrase "the other druid" :narnar:

Vargen

For the record, I told you not to heal my pet as I was taking care of him myself. And I found it strange that I was the only one putting out traps and the only one protecting our one and only healer. They even made fun of my gear :( But Bob did an awesome job healing, and I still don't know how he kept calm with some of those ppl. I have to admit that I was wondering wth that druid tank was doing most of the time. He was like, "Ooo, a mob inside an ice cube. Maybe I should hit that one first"

Yeah, what the heck was that all about...  You wonder sometimes, how stupid is it really possible to be - time after time

And a nother not to bright thing he tended to do alot was when the hunters (or most of the time the one hunter (Vargen)) had put out traps - instead of letting the hunters pull the mobs to us, so they actually had to run through and get afflicted by the trapps, he thought it was a good idea to just run straight over to the mobs and start fighting them there

Next time, let us just get 3 other l33t hunters from SoG, and we'll own the whole place :D

Sinap

Varg, Tanales and myself had a nice PUG with a 59 warlock in a baron run last night.

Everyone : Summon
Warlock : No because everytime I try it doesnt seem to work
Everyone : Just do it
Warlock : i cant summon him because hes not in my group
Everyone : go to the raid tab to select his name
Warlock : how do i get to that?
Everyone : ...
Vargen : So how much do level 59 warlocks cost off Ebay these days?

He then summons someone, ME, I was stood less than FIVE, yes FIVE feet away from him, and he summons me...

What a joke :P

This lasted 10 minutes or so before he summoned the guy, I would write more, but im afraid id bore you all to death, just like we were when he finally worked out how to do it, after we moved the lock into his group.

No Sinap, no chance of boring us to death - but much more likely to make us die out of stomach cramps or something, because I'm lauging so hard now, and I can't stop :roflmao:
What a wacko lock :lmfao:
