Edit Problems

Sometimes I don't have an edit option on my posts...

I want to edit the title of this post but when I tried immediately after posting, I was only able to edit the body of the post...now I can't even do that as my edit button has vanished :blink:

Also, my moderator options only allow me to close a thread...is this correct or should I have more options? (not that I want any options, I just want to know if this has any bearing on my other edit probs)

I have had this problem before...immediately after I got admin status...but BB sorted it then

I don't get any of your fancy dropdowns. I feel inadequate... :blush:

Re: editing. I have noticed that I now only tend to get a fixed amount of time to edit my posts before the button disappears, only leaving the option to delete the post. Also, I've never been able to edit the post subject, just the body.

I've noticed the vanishing 'edit' button before.

I think its because our 'BF2Admin' group settings have been tweaked.

We don't really have moderator access we just have a few more tickboxes which allow us to do things to our own posts.

This is where they are set....

This is how a guest account is set on one of mine.
