I dont belive that for a second.

Example: When he askes a peon to build a farm, he then puts his finger on the board, but the farm was already there, like someone had used a mouse. I belive it is all a recording that he has sat down and told what was happeinng, and just timed it.

Asmoden the system is real.. it was show something similar to Cebit i think it was, and the technologi is already there.. the system is based on a touchscreen with a projector that hits the touchscreen with the image.. the example you tell about is actually working as he uses command words.. he says peon build farm here.. the farm is chose as he says it... the only problem with marketing the technology is that you will need to set it up voice commands yourself for each action supported as no current system is able to respond to every voice on any human in the world, because of the different dialects and voice tones..

bit skeptical, but it could work..

1) touch screen on a table: can be done via a projector and lasers, (same way as the projected kboard)

2) vioce recognition: already available..

so it is quite possible..

The touch screen commanding is awsome!

Its possible that it is a prerecorded vid, but i doubt it. The only thing i have to say is that it apears to slow... the commands arnt recognised quick enough to be used in real time games such as Warcaft, but prototype says it all! I hope this is possible to use in the nearest futur, cous... well it looks awsome!! But unfortunatly it looks a tad expencive, but mass construction and new tech should make it usable.

One more thing... It looks awsome!

And also..when you are talking to the table is there time to speak on TS @ all?

Why would talking over TS affect it? Voice recognition software is designed to look at a particular sound input, not output i.e. microphone not speaker/headphone out, unless of course you're one of these annoying people woh run TS with speakers, in which case you deserve to get remote-killed.

teaching voice recognition software your voice isn't difficult, it just takes a while.

good system, but in this case i dont see that it would help much,  would be funny in an fps tho
