I am writing to 'Doggers-Will-Fix-It' on behalf of my brother because he has always been a big fan of your great TV show and has always admired the large custom alloy medallions you hand out that are inscribed "Doggers Fixed It For Me".  Now I want one.  

We are getting more peeps onto the server all the time and despite the recent pw change we still seem to see people (like Tidus last night) who do not know the rules.  It is difficult to believe that someone can go to the trouble of signing up for MHPCS but NOT know anything about the way we play CS here at the Hook.  That leads us to think that the new pw is being handed out to non-registered players already!

It would be seriously helpful if the Admins had access to the list of players registered for MHPCS sp that we can do a check on whether or nto a player is registered.  Whether this is done via a passworded webpage, weekly email to Admins with a spreadsheet attachment, server side software, etc I don;t know.  But I do know that it would be really helpful if we could have that access.

Any idea how best to proceed Doggers?

Then we need all members to give us their WonID. As of now any :jester:  with an e-mail adress can get the password.

I think you're barking up the wrong metaphor.  There are 397 registered PCS players on the mailing list.  We don't have much in the way of checking who signs up and we dont record user names against email addresses.  Creating and updating such a list would be a major pain in the ass which you are welcome to implement.

Short of chasing players round the server wagging your finger at them, I don't understand what you hope to acheive, though.

I'm sure TL I saw a CS mod that would only let players on the server if their wonID was recorded with email address in a mysql database.  And guess what?  there was a nice web page thingy that took registrations and confirmed the email address was valid.
