I found this nice healing calculator. Gives you a pointer on your mana efficiency in longer fights.
All it showed me though is that I am doing just what aI should  Though it recomends rank 3 HT for me, I use rank 4 as it doesn't account for me using Innervate with Blue dragon card.

Check it out. Just add in the length of the fight and your stats and you get a pretty accurate statistic.

Akall

Nice but I cannot rely on that because I swap my weapon in the middle of the fights to gain more mana regen while casting and from + 52 int with my normal weapon I pass to +51 spi with Will of Arlokk, so my stats changes during long fights...

Akall those 51spirit don't change alot in that you will still get a rough image of the right heal. Now if you want it alittle bit more accurate you can add those 56(with BoK) if you have no Regen while inside FSR with 15% tone it down to about 40 and with 30% about 25. I could make a formula for getting the exact spirit you should add but i have a feeling you wouldn't bother using it and it would take some time.

Also if you are checking the Vael fight please remember to add the Buff he gives( though this will just tell you to use your biggest heal since you will never run out of mana )

Also the 3important things to check for fights is 100% in FSR 66% 50%
Now i know the guild hasn't had alot of healing strategies but those are the standard strategies.

100% is where you will never have to stop except for an innervate. (these are short fights)

66% is where healers are split in 3groups and 2 of them are casting while a 3rd is regening.(example would be a fight where you need alot of healing on tanks for a long time or a long fight where boss does AoE and 1group heals tanks, 1 heals other persons and 1 rests(rotation would be
group1 on tanks, group2 on others, group3 waits
group1 waits, group2 on others, group3 on tanks
group1 on others, group2 rests, group3 on tanks
group1 on others, group2 on tanks, group3 rests
group1 rests, group2 on tanks, group3 on others

50% is 2groups with 1regening( original tactic for Onyxia but since it isn't a very healing demanding fight it never got used, also basic tactic for firemaw and chromaggus where 1group is out healing while the other is regening and getting the debuff off )

For fight Length:
Twin emperors is 15minutes(900sec)
Ragnaros is about 5-6minutes(300-360sec)
most fights are calculated from 8-12minutes.
Patchwerk is 7minutes.

For actual data while buffed use the Ctprofiles or allakhazam profile and add
+healing   +(267 if you are pally(BoL) + 100 if you have the libram for FoL(these only affect the FoL add 560 for HL for BoL)

(spirit+52+regen weapons)*1.1

mana/5s + 39 for BoW+talent

(not sure if Allakhazam profile adds talent int but CTprofiles does these assume it is calculated into the int)
mana
(((int+47))*1.1*15)+1232  for Paladins with 10% int talent
   (((int+43))*1.1*15)+1232  for Paladins
(((int+43)*1.1*15)+1785)*1.1 for Priests with 10% mana talent
   (((int+43)*1.1*15)+1785)  for Priests
((int+52)*1.1+15)+964) for Druids with 20% int from talent
   ((int+43)*1.1+15)+964) for Druids

crit%
((intellect+47)*1.1)/29.5 for paladins with 10% int talent
    ((intellect+43)*1.1)60+1.8 for druids
    ((intellect+43)*1.1)59.5+0.8 for priests

Drazila :O you should  be the healing leader!

We need someone to organise healing rotations, which is not happening at all at the moment :)

Yes indeed, we could have very good use to start practicing some healing rotations.  The stuff Tenilia mentioned above isn't really that hard - we just have to have a plan (which atm doesn't exist at all), and all healers must stick to int - plain and simple.  It would benefit the whole raid alot I think - both concerning healing efficiency, but also overhealing.

I don't have any previous experiences with healer rotation, although the theory behind it sounds good and it could be very beneficial in long fight. But since you will have less people healing at the same time I think some discissions about who heals who should be made as well. Most of the time you don't want multiple healers to heal the same target (tanks are an exception of course).

What I'm currently seeing in RG2 is that a lot of healers are overly focussed on emergency meters. For example: if I run low on health I get hit by three or four consecutive big heals after I'm back to full health; which is not very efficient, both mana as casting time wise. This 'behaviour' may also cause people that are lower down on the list and who are talking damage to be healed too late.

Sebas

Healing rotations sound like a good plan if every healer works along.
And Sandrion cant be me, cause I threw my Emergency Monitor out of screen once and I cant be arsed to get it back :P

Hehe, not blaming anyone, it was just an observation.
