His build is similar to mine actually, but he is Teddy/Healer, where I am Kitty/Healer. On the resto tree it is slightly more PvP oriented though, and would certainly not be a good setup for raids with high threat from healing, low mana regen and low mana efficiancy due to lack of "PvE" talents.

As for the gear, it's not impressive, and looking at the gear in his bags, I would say that is most likely his main set judging by his spec and the quality and stats of the items.

His spec might be a problem if there is 2 feral dr00ds in the raid at once (RG2)

And as I see it Defender applications will prolly require OL+BWL attunment as we start BWL.

Gear is far from impressive, maybe should aim for Wildheart -> Feralheart, at least the 3 easy items (Wrist+Gloves+Belt - won't cost much, and can be done fairly easy/fast)

Atm RG2 could use a better geared Dr00d, and Pilgaard if you have the same spec I might consider twice before making Chraz defender. If what Voretex says is correct, which I tend to belive :biggrin:

Skill > gear > spec.

I don't want to turn this into a 'specs discussion', but specs should not be a diciding factor imho. He has got a PvP spec, but that can be fixed. And that doesn't mean going full restro, since 30/21 builds are nearly as good if the talent points are properly distributed (got one myself and I rarely get outhealed. I assume the same goes for Vargen). Just redistributing some points in the restro tree should be enough.

His gear is rather poor however; this is a problem. You can't go to BWL wearing mainly (poor quality) greens and blues. I also wonder why he has a fiery weapon enchant on his 'feral weapon'? (Weapons can't proc in forms).

As for skill, I don't know since I don't know him. Judging by what he is wearing I'd say he hasn't been playing with this character for too long. Otherwise he would have had a more ... extended wardrobe. This may imply a lack of PvE experience. (Note that this is only speculation).

In it's current state I'd say no to an application as defender.

As some mentioned and out of experience, a 30/21 build works perfectly well for raiding. The thing is however, that Chraz atm has all the wrong talents in Resto.

My own spec has it's pros and cons as well. In shorter fights I can't keep up as I now have a more steady flow of healing. I can go over to major burst healing, but that rarely does any good with many doing that allready. The strong point of my build is endurance.

Chraz on the other hand has pvp armor for feral, and what healing/caster gear he has, can easily be bought from the AH. His spec might not be important, but as the talents suggest, he isn't using healingspells much, and this will mean it will take him some time to master. It took me more then a full year of playing a resto Druid before understanding and evolving my tecniques.

yea he know what, were said and its my mistake we are irl mates. and he was at my place drinking beer like allways. so take it out on me, i can take it. i am sorry tho. well if it takes him 1 year to learn how to heal "wich is kinda easy" then theres no reason to invite him. and yea anyway he got some real crap cloth armor, but he still got some epics, that dosent make that big a diffrence in mc anyway. but thats not my call. and no his not attuned to mc and onyxia. thats kinda /lol. takes 1 day so kinda lazy he havent done that yet:)

Well as my point of view we all started with crap gear and got better did we?? so i rather see a good friend of one of our guildie's join then a guy we don't know at all, If he doesn't meet the standards after a while he probably know what happens then :blush2:
