Before the misinformation starts hitting the fan, we'd like to advise members why Luminance has been transferred to RG1.

RG1 currently has a shortage of Rogues, RG2 currently has a surplus of rogues.

Luminance has advised us that he has a problem raiding on all the RG2 days, so cannot make the attendance requirement for RG2.  He can make the RG1 raid nights however.

Luminance is as well specced or better than the applications we receive.

Marshalls and Field Marshalls have discussed the transfer and whilst we do not had the intention to make any RG2 to RG1 transfers, we have agreed in this instance that it is mutually beneficial in this instance.

We hope that this one-off transfer will not create any issues.  Neither the Marshalls or Field Marshalls have any problems with this issue, so we will hope that you understand why the transfer has been made too.

Don't see any reason why this should be a problem at all.  Sounds like the Marshalls and Fields Marshalls have discussed this, and the arguments you give are none but logical

Gratz lumi.

I can not really follow the statment that lumi has a prob raiding on rg2 nites. We only raid like two nites and one of them are equal to rg1 raidiing nites. Lumi has a very good attendance so far too and has never complained about that in raid as far as I have heard.

Dont see how we have a surplus of rouges. We have the rouges that both raid groups has set as needed by the marshals and field marshals. When rg1 get one from us we got one less. So the solution now is that rg1 got their prob solved, and rg2 has to get a new one.

I agree that lumi is well specced, but dont rg2 need well specced rouges?

So for me this is not that clear at all as stated by Threbrilit.

Secondly we had a new priest incoming to the guild, both raid groups needed a priest. Even Tealeaf saw the need rg2 had for another priest when he raided with us. And thx again for the help you put in for rg2 that nite. But why was there so clear that rg1 would have the priority for that one. I even heard that he wanted in rg2 in the first time. If its the dwarf argument rg1 too got a dwarf priests. This is just my thoughts about it and I know leaders will not be satisfied but I know others feels like this too.

This way I do feel that rg2 are indeed neglected, and that is not a good feeling to build a good group on are there?

Devout, I'd like to provide some information to assist you with your comments.

You raised two issues:

Luminance's problem with attending RG2 raid nights has been reported to us by Luminance, so I would sya it is not your job to question whether or not Luminance is right or wrong and can or cannot attend.  As it appears from Marduk's post things have changed for Luminance, you were clearly unaware of this change and tbh there was no reason for Luminance to advise you of the change.  As for the numbers of RG2 rogues this is a matter for the Marshalls to consider.  The Marshalls have full access to the Attendance data we record and are fully aware of their requirements for this class.  It was their informed judgement that they had one too many at the moment and as RG1 were short then the transfer was the obvious and mutually beneficial solution.  You do not have access to this data, so it is difficult for me to place much weight on yoru comments - the Marshalls have the facts and made the appropriate decision, a decision which the Field Marshalls trusted and accepted.  You should too!

Priest:
Regarding your comments about a new priest joining the Guild:  The priest concerned made an application to both Guardian & Defender.  When we spoke with him he had absolutely no preference as to which RG he was in, we even pointed out which RG his friends were in and his reply was that he did not mind.  That made it our decision as to which Raid Group he was placed into.

You made a statement that RG1 has too many dwarf priest, I'd be interested to know how many you actually think RG1 has - after factoring in attendance records.  Your statement is one that unfortunately cannot be supported by fact.  There are many things of which the Marshalls and Field Marshalls are aware that you do not yet know (and may not ever know).  You must trust us that we have the facts and made the right decision.  With school/uni restarting and several other changes forthcoming we made the best decision for the Guild.  In addition we do nto often get applicants from priests who are sufficiently well specced to survie an RG1 raid, the priest concerned died often enough as it was last night!  Further speculation without the facts would really not be very constructive.
