Im confused

i got F@H installed as a service, and it should be automatically setting up so it would'nt use CPU power, when other applications are suing them right?
 
if so, it might be bugged, i was ripping a DVD today (yes it was legally done) and while running at full speed with the 8 gigs of movie. F@H was using 100.000 k memory.... thus making the ripping slower and gave a worse result...

It may be using memory but it won't be using CPU power that any other application needs. I have my FAH modules set to use 90% each and that gives good folding with sufficient spare that other programs get a look in - I wouldn't recommend setting FAH to 100%.

If you have large WU's enabled it will use considerably more memory on your system.  For PC's with less than 1GB, I would recommend disabling large WU's.

Same that I have at my work.
The boss was complaining that the computer was to lousy and to busy.
He said it was because of F@H but he messed around with SpeedFan which I installed on his computer to monitor the heat in his computer.

I think it's set to 100% on my pc ... I've not really noticed anything going slow(er than usual)

Ooh, just thought of another thing, sometimes I do have to take F@H off but that's only when I want to play BF2.
