I think we do have the system we need today, we are just not using it.
 
On the application site it say, the application will be here 5 days and then moved to "Officer's private channel". Many applications are not moved before a decision are made, but if we move them after 5 days to "Work In Progress" in SoG War Room, we will be able to comment this without the public can see what we are discuss and here we can talk about a person who has apply for both groups should get in 1 or 2 before the invite.
If it is a very needed character for both groups, there can be put in a copy in "Work in Progress" from his application in the public section so the progress can start before the 5 days are gone.
And when a decision are made, move the application to the class thread.

Just my idea of a way to use the tools we have in a different way.

Posted in the linked thread too, there is a Recruitment topic for this purpose.  i have already moved all apps over 5 days old into this section.

I will start work on the Soldier apps and this should leave just Defender/Guardian apps.   We should aim to clear the backlog and confirm decisions within the 24 hours if possible.
