I don't know how familiar you are with the concept of dance bands, but in Norway (and I also think the rest of Scandinavia), it is a very popular thing especially among the elder parts of the population (40+ (no offense meant to any in the community in that age group

)). Barn dances and similar events, are places you'll find these folks.

What is a trademark of the "typical" dance band, is the rather special (or perhaps complete lack of) taste in fashion - and they always almost were the same (hilarious) outfits. A Norwegian news paper made a small compilation of what they believe is/was the best dance band outfits :doh:

I think this is borderline as might be more suitable in "look what I found..." but anyway, an excellent find. Yeah, we have some incredibly bad dressed people of such kind in DK as well.

i must admit i felt a bit embarres when i saw that clip bob.. you made me feel ashame of being norwegian.. but then i remember that we got bands like jack, briskeby, turbonegro and so on
