Knabbel

Okay guys I have made a list for myself so I keep the order when starting a raid.

Plz remember that this is how I do it, not how it should be.....

- At 18:30 start approving members and move rest of people to queue
- At 19:00 on guild chat "All approved people for tonights ZG/AQ go repair, check your reagents and head to the entrance of ZG/AQ plz".
- At 19:10 on guild chat "All approved people for tonights ZG/AQ get on TS plz. Also make sure to turn of PvP plz and check that you are not SAVED to the instance!!!!".
- Invite Master Looter and convert party to raid.
- Set Master Looter back to group 1.
- Set Master Loot and item loot set to uncommon.
- At 19:15 in guild chat "Invites starting now".
- Invite all members.
- When done, set MT1, MT2 and MA (as MT4) from the CTRaid pane in Social Window.
- Give MT's and MA raid assistance for using there macro's.
- Turn on Boss mod if it's not on. I will be left on once it's turned on. Probably after update CTRaid you need to turn it on again.
- Set in CTRaid option "Broadcast to raid" or check it.
- In raid chat "People plz zone in and if you need water plz trade a mage".
- If youd don't have mats or item for Madness event say in raid chat that there will be no Madness event. Otherwise you'll get angry people like I had once.
- Summon people to speed up the starting if needed (if you have like 16 people you can start clearing the first mobs).
- Buff the long buffs and paladin buffs.
- Say in raid chat (like /gw) "Get your health and mana up pulling in 1 min".
- Say in raid chat (like /gw) "Warriors go to the front, mages get in range to sheep and casters stay at the back".
- Head to Windows and start the raid on website.
- Start cleaning the instance
- After cleaning the instance head to windows and stop the raid on website.
- In case of ZG ask in guild chat if someone needs to get his enchant from ZG. He will get an invite and can make his way through the npc.
- Send the idols etc to ZGBank/AQB.

Plz feel free to add stuff when needed. This is a help for me.

thanks alot mate, sure that will help.

I've done a couple of raids now and would love to have 1 or 2 with more "expirience" in leading with me that could back me up if i forget some stuff, and just be there for support in the next couple of raids that im gonna lead.

I'm sure that the new commanders got their own expirence that they are gonna share, but its allways nice to have a "safty net"

Okay guys I hope this will help you as it did for me.

I also noticed a problem in the current list and that is the following:

- Invite Master Looter and convert party to raid.
- Set Master Loot and item loot set to uncommon.

This doesn't work. Because when converting the party to a raid the Master Looter (you just invited) will be set to group 2. Therefor it's not possible to assing Master Loot to him, he need to be in the same group to do that. So new would be:

- Invite Master Looter and convert party to raid.
- Set Master Looter back to group 1.
- Set Master Loot and item loot set to uncommon.

I adjust the list.

I have no idea what you mean here.  When I invite someone to party and convert to a raid they are still in my group and I can set ML to them with no problems.  What exactly did you mean!

Yep but when you invite the ML to party and then convert to raid he is in your group.  So what's the problem?

Stop nitpicking the details, asuming ML is in other party the advice holds. Sticky so it wont be lost since its a good post.
