Remember Freespace and Freespace 2? There is a free game coming out out based on the FS2 game engine with updated graphics. The story line is based on Battlestar Galactica. There is a demo available at:

read the instructions given carefully, there is a couple of things you have to do before playing the game. I set my OpenAL to use Hardware as I have a creative card that supports it. Quality is much better than in software mode. - You'll understand when you see the control panel.
