Quote from: BlueBall;203070Removed as_vespa from mapcycle and maplist. lets see how it goes :)

Early start this morning

I've managed to fix the problem with the Admin menu so we can now call external plugins with menus from the main admin menu.  The "rates" and "bottools" options now work and I have included a "votemap" to the maps menu.

Server have been working all day. Have been on the server now and then. Tonight we have played with 8-12 people all evening and not any problem at all. Changing maps etc. Been working great.

Must have been that one map causing the crashes then!

Seems so. Time to roll out MH and Boomer?

It seems as if Baldric is stable now.

I have some free time this weekend and can wipe MH and Boomer, download clean CS installs, and copy the SourceMod settings across if you are all happy that it is ready to go?

Comments?

I am not totally happy with the bot control and swear filter but I don't see it stopping us going forward.  What we have is stable and all the main admin functions work fine, so lets roll it out and we can use Baldric to test the new releases of sourceMod and any plugin/config updates.

Did you have any luck finding another mapcycle.txt file anywhere on Baldric as the Map Menu is definitely looking at a file of that name?

I'll also have a look at what is in the current mapcycle on Meathook and Boomer as a few changes are needed.  I'll post up a revised cycle for comment/ammendment.

We should also look at removing some of the plugins from Meathook.  I don't see the need for things like the swear filter, team attack, Sourcebans etc on our private server, what do you think?

The mapcycle file is designated when we start the server as a command line option. The mapcycle file we were currently using is set as "+mapcyclefile vipmod27017.txt"

It looks as if SourceMod is looking for mapcycle.txt ie the value is hard-coded in the program. I can rename the existing mapcycle.txt and copy vipmod27017.txt to mapcycle.txt to keep it happy.

mapcycle file edited. Please let me know if anything has changed.

It is hardcoded and it now works fine on Baldric :)

I have uploaded some changes to the ftp area that have been tested on my server.  They include:
  • A fix for the strange filtering which was caused by some of the foreign language words (lul) as an example. I have removed all of the foreign language filters as people should only speak English on the server anyway.
  • Bot controls now work as expected
  • ATAC now displays name of the person issuing admin commands to the other CS admins.
The changes are all under the cstrike directory.
Can you also remove the file hp_left.smx from the sourcemod/plugins directory.

Thanks :D

Now that those minor issues are sorted it will be great to get Boomer and Meathook done, especially Boomer.

When you get a chance (after Boomer and Meathook are done) can you also turn on the SourceBans plugin on Baldric again as it looks like it was the map causing the crash and not the plugin.

I've also uploaded the latest stable release of SourceMod to the FTP area. It can just be extracted into the cstrike folder as I've already removed the admin configuration files to stop them being overwritten.

I agree there, while it is nice to have on our public server, we shouldnt need it on the private servers.

You are in the admin list.  I take it you are using the new SourceMod menu?
