Following the success last night in Karazhan I believe it would be sensible to do two things:

Guild Section:
It appears the old SOG thread has been archived, so it would be good to post a SOG thread in the Guild section saying a little about the Guild, it's aims, it's recruitment needs and importantly whether you are Horde or Alliance!  You may wish to start a draft post here for editing and agreement before posting to the realm forums.

Raid Progress:
Whilst Karazhan is not a tracked raid progress instance it is common for guilds ot post their success in this thread.  So post an update on your raid progress in the General>Raid Progress thread.

One of the jobs of the Officers is the publicity of the Guild and the unofficial realm forums are actually an important part of that process.  It's where a lot of players look for info.  I think SOG needs to get doing this again - I actually had someone ask me who SOG were the other day - he had never heard of them and it shocked him when I told him that pre-TBC SOG were the realm's largest guild working on C'Thun and early Naxx bosses!

Just an idea anwyay.

The was made a new SOG thread, and you can find it here. It is only that it has been quite some time since we've had any news to come with, so it isn't on the first pages in the guild forum.

I actually had it in mind to make a post in that thread today, which I've got time to do now (as I've done with my first of four exams now ). I will also add a small note in the raid progress thread while I'm at it.
