Downloaded it from the thread first, then from the server itself. When it finished it said that mine differs from the servers, so I'll come back and play with you another night.

Also, since it's sometimes really hard to get the downloaded maps to work properly, it helps to just check the global server list for them, I've gotten most of the custom maps from there except for those really obscure ones that no other server seems to ever play

some maps need to get extracted to "counter strike: source" file and not maps in cstrike...
at least i did it with cpl_mill and assaultvilla...

You get that error when you download a bit of the map from the server before quiting. Just download the map and extract (The rar usually has the folder layout i.e: if it's in Maps put it in your maps folder, and if it's textures put it in textures - Don't copy the folders just the files in them)
And if you did all that, check that you have the right map (some maps went through several versions) and finally check you overwrote the bit you got off the server (with Vista it asks you if you want to replace or rename...if you renamed it won't work)

Other than that,:g:  take the files and paste them in loads of folders till it works.
