Back to the old Chestnut of B/Band

[Penfold]

Moving house (again).

Move in next week - so I'm back to that old chestnut of trying to get a half decent broadband supplier.

Previously used Tiscali which sucked the big one.

Any perennial favourites you guys can recommend?

Virgin are ment to be pretty good, just keep away from Tiscali, we're with them now, and their DNS keeps messing up... (I.E We can't always browse the web, been like this for about three days.)

[Dingo]

Zen are VERY good....but not cheap....£24.99 monthly for 8mb of which I consistently get 6+.

[Blunt]

I've been with Firenet for donkeys and still rate them highly.
Any problems are dealt with promptly either by email or national-rate phone call. The support guys are polite and knowledgable (&Irish).

I've been very happy with newnet, no traffic shaping of any kind, and 0845 contact numbers for the only time I've had to call them.
