Steam Favorites list messed up?

went onto steam my internet connection was acting up..all my favorite servers list is totally gone....?:sad::crying: i had loads of good servers now all kaput

Favorites have never been reliable for me. I could add servers but once I signed out the were lost. Sometimes steam never even added new servers to my favorite list. It has been crap since day one in my book. :sad:

My favourites are ok I have 3 Boomer Mhook and Baldric. Don't need more than that.:dmw:

My favourites list can be pretty dodgy also, sometimes favourites are there sometimes they aren't recently has been pretty poor at showing the servers. I've had to join Boomer through friends.

My twinbrother has the same, he keeps asking me on how to change that...

Althoug I have learnd that:
a) Favourites act better OUTSIDE of CSS (i.e. add the games from the STEAM consle after just startins STEAM and before entering the game); and
b) Add the IP -> click "find games on this IP" and NOT "add" -> CSS finds a game under the IP by its own -> add it. Now it's in the list.

it has happened to me a few times i found all the servers again by adding the ips its just a pain tho:doh:

happened to me loads. Not found a way to get round it. I found it happened more after the game crashed though. Not that thats any help.

Meh, I haven't been able to use my fav's list in a long long time. Still, as long as you have your history list well sorted; and plenty of regular players on friends, joining your favourite servers shouldn't be much of a problem. :g:

Looks like one of the only people that can (almost) honestly say i've had little to no problems with steam friends/Favs.
The best thing to do I find is reinstall Steam, I've had to do that a few time because textures and stuff...

Ive never had problems with my fav. list so far, but sometimes i add a server to it and it wont show up till the next day or so.
