Newbie to shoot

Well i ordered BF2142 with the addon today and will get it friday or monday.
 
So then there will be a newbie somewhere in BF universe...
 
 
It is a bit like cs that you add servers etc. ?
 
And what about your name, can you change it or do you have to stick with the one you type in first (account)

you can create new soldiers like in bf2. but they will start at the lowest rank and you wont have any of the unlocks/awards you had in a previous character
 
you can add servers to your favourites if that's what you mean. and you can rent servers from various companies.

You can create a name when logging in (if it's not allready taken).
