Okay, when I check out my stats I have:
Dog tags collected: 28
Unique Dog tags collected: 27.
 
What's the difference? Does the unique part mean he hasn't knifed me back or so?

Yes, when you play online and knife a guy you'll receive his dogtags.
Not sure how you can see them though. According to EA there's an option to hunt them down again but I don't quit get it.

Last night was a good evening for trying my blade.

Just that, you knifed 39 unique ppl, and manged to get 4 more dogtags by knifing ppl 2 or more times.

And I have stil to find a way to save my kit. Don't think there is a way as I belive it is info stored on the server.( Rejoining a server after DC and I sometimes don't need to re do the kit,join a new one and I have to).

I think you have to join a ranked server to be able to save your kit, as I remember. 0.o

What they mean is the settings on the player, everytime you have to select the unlocks towards your selected kit, quit anoying at first.

after brigadeer general, there's major general, lieutenant general and supreme commander. thses ranks are reserved for the top 200 players (most career points) for that month, i think
the supreme commander is the player with the highest score. it changes weekly.

I was looking at various sites the other day for the Supreme Commander and such and found the current one;

Seems to be a padder on knife only servers and just making knifekills and reviving people.
I reckon you don't have much of a chance of gaining a higher rank then you currently have (Brigadier General).
 
I'm closing up on you btw with my rank. 410 points away from Field Marshal Silver, after that Field Marshal Gold and Supreme Commander.

GG's again Sunday, to bad we had a complete Clan against us on that 1 server. The 1 I join usually is a bit hectic and you need to be on the right side but usually when playing on that server you can get teampoints really easy. Teamwork for the win!

That server is good for racking up points on EU side, but the base rape on the PAC uncap is a bit unsporting.
The ranking up bit is something I have given up on since I have a jobb.

Gaining points kinda takes a backseat to teamplay and trying to beat my killstreak :boxing:(EA wont give me the killstreak I desrve :crying:)

I got my 25 killstreak as a commander on a large server, not sure which 1.
Ehrm, teamplay gives loads of points to be honoust.@ that 1 sever, I allways defend the left side, PAC does have a decend change to get by there. I've been also several times on the PAC-side winning rounds...

Yesterday I ended up as Brigadier General also.
Must say that the ranking went pretty fast (4 months from Private untill Brigadier General). Teamplay = loads of points...
Almost got all the unlocks now (2 missing but hope to get those through NS).
 
Now I'm trying to get one of the most difficult ribbons, the War College ribbon. Almost have it, just need an 1,5 hours of Commandering and then IOR 45 Commander score.
 
@ Kakehund; I've tryed joining you yesterdaynight several times but got disconnected several times.
-2 times my BF2142 seemed bugged (weird console where you pick your gear).
-2 times BF2142 just crashed to desktop
-1 time bluescreen of death...
When I could join properly, the server was full
