I'm all set with TF2 as there seems nothing much to add to the stock game. However I'm not so sure about CS:S. I've not played CS for at least two years and so have only just re-installed it from Steam. Therefore while the game will be nicely up to date on Friday I cannot say the same for the maps and a buy script.

Is there an official LAN map cycle or map pack we will be playing? Or are we sticking to the official maps that come with the game?

Can anyone save me the aggro of learning how to write a new buy script by pointing me at a pre-written one. I just need a simple one with the normal buy options and I'll set the key bindings. I may be able to remember how to write one but I'm pretty sure I'll mess up the syntax somewhere.

Thanks in advance

Whatever's gone wrong it's not my fault.

Smilo, I'm still using the b4+3 and so if you know what I mean. Although there's a slight change in buying gear and so in CSS (I'm still on the look out for a decent buyscript as Rzzh's helper or so).
For the rest, maybe copying the mapfolder of someone might be an idea so you'll have all the latest maps. Otherwise; Sadako has put up a thread with all mappacks that are added in the last year or so and I reckon a few maps will be played from it as their custom on MeatHook now.

We could send you our map directories at the LAN :)

As for binds, you probably won't need them, when you hit B there are 4 presets you can change. I find these cover most situations. Although I will be setting up some binds for any matches, I'll do it manually.

OK thanks, no binds and I'll slurp the maps off of someone's machine on Friday. Sorted, prepare to be annihilated scum!
