After 8 relatively Dan-free and quiet months (bar the odd sighting of him using our tag on CS servers without authoriation) Dan re-registered with us last night (D.a.n.is.back) and immediately kicked off with an abusive post, accusing us of being people with strong wrists and linking to his new website - a multi-game community - the community has just 3 members at the moment though, all of whom are the admins! Anyway, the courtesy avatar he provided for his account has been replaced (it was a closeup of a clit). He also sent a PM to me advising me that he wanted to hump mother but that as he could not then he killed her instead. Nice guy.

I have banned the account but would be grateful if Gandalf could ban the IP too please.

If you see any trash from this guy please use your moderation rights and hit the delete button. If he re-registers let a senior admin know asap and we'll ban the account etc.

He was a busy boy last night. I spent a few minutes deleting everything he posted. I expect it took him longer to post all of that crap than it did for me to delete them. :devil:

I'm of the opinion that if he does it again we pass all messages to the police and let them handle it. Even the threat of it will hopefully scare the little twit.

in which case can we move things to compost corner rather than editing or deleting them otherwise we have no evidence.

assuming he has a static IP address I can block it at the firewall easily enough. Just let me know what IP it is.

He is the only user to have used that IP.

ok, banned at the firewall. All traffic coming from that ip address will be dropped.
