WOW those pictures are amazing to say the least.... maybe 11 years ago i would have been up for the challenge, but with an artificial knee and now a family to look after, my mind is more than happy to look at the pretty pictures, although deep down i know that its not the same..

Good find benny although this post is not of your usual calibre is this the begining of a new you? are you slipping a bit or are you just impersonating being benny? (i think we may have a pod person on the forums)
Are you going to come quietly, or do I have to use earplugs?

Can you imagine the health and Safety lot over here allowing tourists up something like that :roflmao:

Benny

Not sure why, but the two trucks passing on this one made me chuckle....

Right, thats 3 places I aint going too.. The tunnel one, I wouldn't mind, but Im too much of a wuss to go to the hiking place and bolivian road, and the mud would just be annoying as hell..

Impressive pictures though..

As a species we\'re fundamentally insane. Put more than two of us in a room, we pick sides and start dreaming up ways to kill one another. Why do you think we invented politics and religion?

The hiking one doesn't seem too bad. Not great for people scared of heights but handrails etc make it look safe enough (as safe as climbing really steep stairs with 1000's of feet drop if you slip can be). The truck one on the other hand, thats just plain crazy...the trucks don't even fit on the road, and they're squeezing past each other. If someone offered me alot of money to do that job, I'd still turn it down(...although if it was a hell of a lot I might be swayed...but I think I'm safe as it's in Bolivia)

That Bolivian road is nothing compared to Glastonbury in a moist year:boxing:

I'd want all my climbing gear, harness, ropes, nuts, the lot, before I'd trust those "safety features" on the mountain though:sideways:

Same, especially knowing that in direct sunlight even climbing slings (rated to 22kN) can disintergrate after just 18months. So I'd be a little cautious about trusting any ropes etc. And be aware that those metal spikes for sport climbing don't last forever, even though they are pretty secure.

Bastet

Well, as i dont have infinite fate in the higher powers i sure as hell wont be attempting to do any of that, and ill also settle for the pics.
