ChildCare Action Project (CAP): Christian Analysis of American Culture

http://www.capalert.com/capreports/index.htm

This page is soo funny to browse through. The page is created by a christian foundation that review and rate movies from a religious point of view. Violence, sexauality, harsh language ... all is included in their rating of a movie. There is over 700 movies rated by now.

QuoteCAP GOAL

Our goal is to combat influences of the American culture which seem to sway an observer from practicing previously embraced wholesome, traditional -- Christian -- ethics, or which prevent an observer from coming to know the strength and peace in Christian ethics.

I think you get the picture when you read this quote about Terminator 3.

QuoteViolence was intense [Prov. 3:31-32]. And nearly nonstop. A road chase sequence involving nearly everything that rolls, including the world's largest mobile crane, rivals any ever produced including that in The Matrix Reloaded. Property damage was immense. When the T-X Terminator became Kate's dead boyfriend and offered to help the police find Kate, the Terminatrix shoved her arm through the driver's seat back and through the driver's chest, then flexed her fingers dripping with blood. And, of course, the new T-101 Terminator (still Arnold Schwarzenegger) does self surgery to get to his inner workings ... again. This time instead of stripping the flesh off his left forearm, he cuts open his abdomen to retrieve a failing power cell.

Language is as intense. [Col. 3:8, Prov. 22:11] Including the three/four letter word vocabulary, the most foul of the foul words AND God's name in vain with AND without the four letter expletive [Deut. 5:11]. With a language density of about 2.5 uses per minute, there is no way the invasive language could be avoided without a curse filter.

A TANGO filter ? I'm TANGOed if I know. Load of TANGOing shit if you ask me, but then the TANGOing worlds gone to total TANGO and we're all TANGOing TANGOers who need to sort out our TANGOing selves before we all disappear up our own TANGOing arseholes

Ohh I said shit  8O Do I go to hell now ?

Check out their report on Nicholas Cages '8mm'. It seems the reviewer dropped dead in the cinema from shock or something

Btw Mary Poppins is the movie that has the best CAP score. I has the best values possible.  8)

That would be the same Marry Poppins film that trivalised the horrific plight of orphan children, who died in their thousands from choking chest desease, cause by their use as child slave labour. Dieing in the chimneys of the wealthy and affluent.

That a bunch of religious zealots would fail to appreciate that Mary was arguably a witch, who coerces her charges to rebel against their strict moral upbringing, and therefore clearly I.D's hereself as a servant of Satan himself, is pleasantly ironic.

Conversly her ascent into the sky at the end of the film may also suggest the supreme blasphamy that she was Christ reincarnate.

I'd burn the bleedin lot of them I would...oh yes.
