1. Who would admit to owning one
2. Why would you buy those if you did

:)

Aquilifer

Those are worth more than the car

I already visual a picture in my mind where the robbers haven't stolen the car, the tyres or the car stereos, but the springs. :D

Jamin

Heh, I bought the missus one once to learn to drive in, revvy 750 cc OHC motor and as light as a feather. It could out accelerate anything to 40mph, I burnt out the clutch and blew the headgasket in the six months we had it.

T-Bag

Thats a Aprils fools gone too far surely?
Why would you want gold plated springs? Gold one of the softest metals around won't help the Spring-y-ness. I'm aware that it doesn't tarnish...but I can think of many things which don't tarnish for much less...paint for instance, or galvanised/anodised metal.
You can't even see springs that much, it's not like wing mirrors or the bonnet etc.
Juggling Hard Disks over concrete floors ends in tears 5% of the time.

Doorman

You'd think they'd throw in the delivery.

Lol. Yeah. Now I don't want 'em for my lovely Panda.
