Smoking

As we've now followed the UK and such on not smoking inside pubs and such for about a month it seems that people antismoking now want to do something against smoking on outside/on a terras.
 
We've had quit a discussion at Amsterdam aswell.
They can't smoke joints in a coffeeshop anymore but people can smoke pure weed which I my eyes is more difficult for people working there then a normal joint.
And when they work in a coffeeshop, they know people smoke. So why prohibite it?
 
I wonder what everyone else thinks of this subject.

We got that no smoking at pubs here in Norway also. but not that many minds it. we use snus. and that has become more poppular. so put your tobaco up under your upper lipp :blink:
And for a law to not smoke on balcony and stuff like that is against a free world. wont happen :boxing:
 
but snus is great, but I think it's only used in scandinavian, and can also being ordered on the internett :dribble: (just found that out now) :norty:

He also put up some adresses where to order them.
Seems if you use that snus to much it's also not good for your teeth

Well i think its insane that they prohibbit smoking weed in coffeeshops, when the stuff itself is legal.
That they prohibbit it everywhere else, ok, i love that, but also the coffeshop :S

I really liked when the smoking ban came out here, it ment after a night out I didn't smell of smoke and have a horrible feeling in my throat. There all had smoking terraces in or near the pubs and clubs which was great. Quickly all the smokers started huddling round entrances of regular buildings, offices, libraries post offices etc. Where as people wouldn't have smoked in these places anyway there are now people you have to walk past. I'm not sure if there was a smoking room thats been made illegal or what, but if they get rid of smoking terraces you'll have to push through a plume of smokers to get into a building....which defeats the point of the law.

I'm not sure if there was a smoking room thats been made illegal or what, but if they get rid of smoking terraces you'll have to push through a plume of smokers to get into a building....which defeats the point of the law.

Yes, can be a bit annoying but it's much better than being permanently surrounded by smoke.

sorry hate the anti smoking law and now dont go to pubs as now instead of fags you can smell body odour and Stale Ale :wacko:  (thats why pubs have got air con units with air fresheners that can have up to 3 scents in them (one being ciggerette smoke))... also the Tap room was actually origionally for the working man to go in and have a cig with a pint away from the family its only the "best rooms" you wernt allowed to smoke in..
 
damn I hate anti smoking campaigns, but at least when you go for a meal on the continent (now at least) the non smokers are put instide and the smokers are outside, how i love southern frances logic...
