I have several long haul flights coming up for work - anyone recommend some good podcasts to help kill the time?

My interests are pretty simple: pc games, films, popular music, current affairs.  I'm a bit ignorant of podcasts and just tend to browse itunes with little success.

Cheers for any advice.
If I wanted you to understand I would have explained it better

Not every ones cup of tea, Ricky Gervais Podcast puts me on the floor in creases every time.

I know it wasn't in your 'interests' but it's hilarious, quite crude though.

But like I said, not every ones cup of Marmite, definitely a love it or hate it thing.

Benny

John Richardsons are pretty easy on the ear, even if he sounds like Lib. Failing that, and this is where I get sad...

Friday night comedy from Radio 2, Fighting Talk is always ok. Frankly I just go for the BBC stuff because it's easy.

I remember Stephen Fry's being pretty good.

Plus you owe me Pizza before you go off for some more black market racketeering of whatever it is you do.

Whatever's gone wrong it's not my fault.

Cheers for this pal - will check it out.  I'll be back next week so pizza and brew is definitely a go.  Provided I make it back alive from wherever it is I might or might not be going.

 Lib goes searching for Jon Richardsons podcasts and find's he downloaded one last night and hasn't listened to it yet.

Once you are on his page you'll see what other comedy stuff people have subscribed to.

Ricky Gervais's XFM podcast are now chargeable and about 5 years old, but I agree that they are very funny, not for Ricky or Stephen Merchant, but Karl Pilkington. They are about 60 of them out there, around 2gb. If you want to have a listen to what they are like, then NME got them to launch their new radio station and the MP3 of it is available off their website.

The first five or six are still free through iTunes though :D
