Quote from: BlueBall;262509The speeds we are seeing are similar to those that would be experienced on a 10Mb link not a 100Mb link. Could one of the ports on the switch or firewall be working at 10Mb?

It's possible but that would be a hardware fault. They are all showing as 100MB FD on the screen.

I'll do a reset on the firewall first thing in the morning to see if that wakes it up. If not I'll get the wire swapped to a different port.

ok, ports reset on the firewall, I've also escalated this to our hosts incase something is amis there.

everything checks out with my equipment so it should be zipping along.

Cheers Neil. A quick FTP test gives about 250kBps (about 2Mbps) so still low I guess. :(

I just tried downloading a map from Sadako's mirror and got 1.3MBps (about 13Mbps) so definitely something askew with our setup; the question is: where?

Thanks for all the work tracking down the issue, I'm getting 300kb/s map download speeds now, much better :)
