Anyone been to the Oval, and if so, where are the best seats?

At a guess I'd say the most expensive one?
 
Do you want to get hit by the ball, in which case behind one of the wickets?
 
I'd say one of the ones just off the centre line should let you see the most exciting bits at both ends.
I do exactly what the little voices tell me to.

PC Specs:- Black box with some fans that go whirrr, a few lights, things inside that get warm, headphones, keyboard (a clicky one), mouse (with buttons and no squeak), disks (2-off SSD and HDD) and a monitor of sufficient proportions.

No idea sorry.

I have friends who go regularly but they're currently somewhere off Koh Pangan so are slightly incommunicado.

Well, after much scientific research, basically the sun will be setting over the west stand, we went for the Lock stand, not direct sunlight, but still bathed nicely to keep us warm whilst we drink..
