So to conclude, my view is that if they guy is that bad that we had to ban him then we should ban him from all of our servers. But we need to consider the practical perspective too.

The issue there is that not all games use a SteamID, and how practical is it to monitor and ban on all game servers in practice. So is a CS ban a Steam-game ban, or all game ban and if yes then how should it be implemented. Or is it a single game ban and he gets a new life per game?

Opinions plz.

I never saw the CS behaviour, but given he's in 'my' forum I'm happy to give him a chance. Once slip and he's out across the board.

With regard the ban being across all games I guess it depends on the severity. The thing with this one is it's been a long time, people do realise the errors of their ways, so if no-one has any issue I'll post up and PM him making the stance clear.

I'll also need someone to unban him from the server if he is..

He is on the Sourcebans list and as such is banned from any steam game servers we run. If I unban him on Sourcebans then he would be able to play on CS again as well as L4D. His attitude and behaviour was totally unacceptable at the time and I don't really want him back on the servers but I can remove the ban from Sourcebans and put his ID on the individual servers ban list if I have to. :sideways:

He got permbanned for his attitude. I dont see why we should let him back as it is a permban. Isnt the point of permban kinda wasted if he is allowed back? I have personally great issues with him as he told me to /quote "shut the f*ck up" /unquote several times when I tried to do my adminwork.

Also, I think its kinda weird he just claims he didnt know about the ban when he got PM's about it. :blink:
