Dr Sadako

If someone would be so grateful and hand me the password for the compost corner so that I can moderate ...

Compost Corner does not need Moderating, that's the whole point.

When I tried to move thread I was asked to enter the password. Sorry I asked.

Ok, from what you said I did not understand what you meant then, I thought you were asking for access.  Sorry I explained.

Previous you have been able to move posts there without the password, I am not sure what has changed and had you explained this in your post then I might have had a small chance of answering the right question.

I've been doing a few tests with Browne and although it asks for a password using the "thread tools" move, you can enter your own password and it will move the thread to Compost Corner.  You will then get a permissions error as you do not have the permissions to view the moved thread.  If you use the Moderator option to move the post then it will not prompt for a password but you will still get the permissions error when the post is moved.  Not great but functional. :)

I concur.

I've just signed in with modtest account and the above does work. I agree that it's a little messy with the error but can confirm it does work.

As long as the functionality is there I am happy. Cheers :)

There is a viagra post in the CS mapping section. I can not move it to the compost corner. It ask me for the password. Someone else can have a go maybe.

I think it does work Sadako, just not as smoothly as we would prefer.  It might change in future.

This is what I tried. I got the error message, but the post remained in place. :g:

Wierd.  It should work the same for you both as it was a test account used to try it with no different permissions.  We'll look at it.
