Have recently installed Firefox as the default browser but having a problem when opening multiple windows. Once finished with a seesion if I close all windows, and then want to browse again,  I am getting a message that says "cannot open Firefox as you already have a session running, close this etc".

Now I don't have a session running and the task manager clearly shows I don't........so is there a nice simple answer to resolve this problem or am I doing something wrong that you seasoned Foxers know all about?

Just wondering if one your plugins might be causing the issue?  I would disable all (I would guess you have to go into FF in Safe Mode?) plugins and see if that fixes the issue.  If it does then you know one of your plugins is the problem and you can diagnose further.
Start Folding and get yourself one of those nice new badge thingies, it\'s a good cause.  Check out the stats

dunno what causes it but to solve it go into the windows task manager and then to processes find it on the list and cancel it :)

I get this if I close FF and try to restart it too quickly. A second click gets it going again.
