dMr raids now consist of Ulduar 25 and Trial of the Crusader 25
We will run Trial of the Crusader 25 just after the reset, so on Thursday and then onto Ulduar 25 as ToC should not take all night to do.

We will start this on Thursday 27th August 2009.

You need TS, and PLEASE keep comms clear when we are fighting the bosses. During breaks, fine. But please, keep the comms clear for the fights!

Please ensure that you have all watched the videos for the boss fights and understand what you need to do. You will also need to be monitoring the raid logs to ensure that your performance is what you'd expect. If you fall short, find out why. We are all here to help each other.

Also ensure that you have all flasks, pots and food required for the raid before you arrive at the instance. We will also start to cut down on the number of breaks. We will be calling breaks in the raids at convenient times. Please stick to them!

Have you already decided how to fix groups, sorting invites, and so on? Are we going to use the in-game calendar, or the one in this site? Are we going to use the same invite rules as the usual 10men ulduar raid?

We have a plan for the 10 mans. There will NOT be an A team and B team, but rather two A teams. We will split the groups up so each are balanced DPS/Tank/Healer wise according to the logs. This way more experienced members will be in both groups and can impart their knowledge down to members who are not as experienced in the fights. The whole idea for the 10 mans is to get used to the fights as they are a lot easier with very similar tactics. Current 10 man invite rules DO NOT APPLY to these new runs.

We will continue using the ingame calendar for now as when we did use the calendar on the forum, only about 5% of the members used it so it's essentially useless unless used. We may re-evaluate this if the ingame calendar causes issues but it shouldn't be a problem.

I run a raid tracker addon that manages attendance so keeping track of who attends and who missed out should be fairly simple.

As this is new, there may be a few teething problems but we will try to ensure that it runs as smooth as we can so everyone can enjoy the raid.

This looks like a nice idea and I'm sure that between all we will make it run nicely.

I just have one comment, recently I noticied that invite times had been starting quite late, resulting in times to start the raid around 20 min after schedule, should we try to improve this a bit? maybe starting to invite slighlty earlier? What do you think?

On a personal note, I want to thank you to all of you who actively manage and run our guild raids, is not easy job to do and I think that in DMW we have a sweet nickle raid leadership.

Cheers,
