Well i think the title says enough....

I wasn't happy with things going on, but it went a bit better.. untill i logged on a few min ago.. What happend there was enough for me...

Why do we have rules etc. if the leaders just set them aside and go their own way, just so that they can have some fun... while the rest of the guild aint aloud to...

And yes Garrit plz sod off with your next week.. as the rule i am talking about went active on 2nd of October 2009 (http://www.deadmen.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?t=29000)

I think it was a miscommunication of context. The statement of ToC 10 being part of the raid schedule(Thursdays) and it being classified as non-pug were not airtight when it came to continuity.
ToC10 will be run on Thursdays as 2 raids as things currently stand.
This begins from the next reset, so feel free to run ToC10 until the next reset.
Sorry if this was not entirely clear.

Yea there has been a bit of a mix-up I think. Part of it is probably my fault as well so I apologise.

Time for some transparency then. The situation from my PoV was as follows:

I did notice the post of 2nd october back then. It does say 10 and 25 on hold for everyone, but I gotta say that sorta came outa nowhere and I don't think we (or at least not me) had a talk about that. It wasn't quite clear to me how to fill this in.

Then throughout the next week I posted on officers forum with the suggestion to make Thursdays into 2x10 man ToCs from now on, as a concretisation of the aforementioned idea. We agreed on that so I thought we would go through with that starting last thursday. Hence when we did Ony10 on wednesday I told everyone there we weren't going to go ToC10 afterward because the idea was to do that the day after.

I originally wasn't gonna be on thursday but in the end I was able to make it although late. Once I got on I asked if we weren't gonna do ToC10x2 but it then was suggested to postpone that and put it on forums. Needless to say it would be a waste to not do ToC10 this week so I was going to do it originally on friday. Hal had his raid yesterday though so I saved it for today. I guess I should have been a bit clearer about things and I can't do much more than apologise. I know it comes off a bit weak when officers don't stick to their own rules so, sorry.

But the final word then is please do not get saved to ToC10, starting from wednesday october 14th. We will be running 2x10 on thursdays starting the 15th.

...and I think all this could have been sorted in a private discussion with the officers, instead fo a public thread which now appears to have missed the mark. Please try and sort grievances directly with the officers, there is little point getting hot under the collar over nothing.

Let's speak to each other please rather than rant. Rants do nothing at all and are destructive, so let's keep things positive and speak to officers direct if you have a problem and allow them the opportunity to sort out any problem or miscommunication before you decide to 'go public' with something that you may or may not have got wrong.

I do not want to see threads with this agressive tone again so I am closing it and editing down the thread title. We're meant to be friends here and maturely deal with issues that arise, so let's keep it that way please.

For clarification: I am quite happy the issue is discussed, but not in this agressive fashion. Let's be mature about this and by all means open up a new thread and keep the chat both civil and constructive.

ok, it appears I need to clarify the position a little better here.

1. Do not PUG Ulduar 10 and 25, ToC 10 and 25
Note the bold in there. This is because these runs will be done by DMR.

We have three official raid nights. Thursday, Sunday and Tuesday. As of this Thursday the format has changed from 25 man to 2 x 10 man as Thursdays always seem to be the day we struggle for attendance. The other days will be 25 man as attendance is good.

As we only have three days a week and the possibility of running four unique raids means that we will always have some raids spare. So, rather than these go to waste, they can be non raid day guild runs for raiders. Note GUILD runs. Not PUG.

Finally, in the future, any issues please resolve them in a civil manner on the forums or PM myself. We do have standards that we all agreed to when we signed up on the forums.
