Black Prophecy

Free to play space sim currently undergoing closed beta testing. Control system similar to Freelancer. (Easy controls) Some are claiming it to be the spiritual successor of Freelancer. Used to play that for around 4 years before hooking myself up with WoW and that game is still going strong even now.

Graphics look stunning, it's free, doesn't have a steep learning curve and you actually pilot the ship (*cough* eve *cough*).

Worth a check in my opinion.

I think I signed up for the Beta of this a while back, It could be interesting.

Yeah same here, no news yet though. There have been a number of access waves going out.

The races seem similar. Never played it tbh; yet it was made by westwood so it must have been something.

EnB was fantastic. I was in the beta and played up till just before they pulled the plug. Damn EA for killing a fantastic game.

Noticed you could actually run around with your toon. Never seen any space sim doing that before.

Most probably BP won't have that feature, nor will you be able to see the toon in the cockpit.

As for EA, they are generally hated by pretty much everyone. Recently they also ruined the C&C series.
