Tactics used for the Survivor series...as used by =jiz=

This is a rough explanation of the tactics we used for the 2 maps ....

de_winternuke

As CT

First 2 players out of spawn run to the outside garage area and as soon as possible boost an AWP onto the roof
Three members take the ramp in x-fire positions
One player went to the balcony in the top site (his job was to spot the top rush)
The remaining players were asked to hang around the bottom of the ladder to top site and stay there…..these players were the backup squad and ran to the area that gives the call

As T

We only used a fast rush tactic (no diversions)……we used 3 routes

Rush left
Hard left rush inside the building with a slight pause by the land to air missiles to enable full HE/FB spamage ….then off down the ramp to bottom site (20% effective)

Rush right
The team split into 2 squads
Squad 1 inside the building heading to the small door that leads out to a small plateau area….as soon as they get to the door they make a call and squad 2 rush right for the garage area with covering fire from the team on the plateau…..
The plan was to take control of the garage and then make the call to which site we would attack (40% effective)

Straight rush (this was the money spinner)
Very simple 3 players were allocated to get on the roof and hit the high door as quick as possible
The rest of the team go as quick as possible to the top site entering by the tin hut ….what we did find (by accident) was the timing of these 2 teams was perfect hitting both ground and balcony levels at the same time.(80% effective)

De_survivor

As CT

Due to the opposition needing a high number of rounds we edged our bets and sent all but one man to the truck….with them taking positions in the tunnels and around the truck
One man went to the plane as a spotter (me) when I died the whole team came back to plane….this was not a good tactic but seemed to work due to the opposition needing fast rounds..  I would never use this tactic again

As T

Again we went for speed as the key so truck was the order of the day

Truck rush
I asked 3 people to spam the cave by the wooden bridge and then the rush followed onward towards the truck (50% effective)

Ravine to truck
Asked 2 players to cover the snow bridge and wooden bridge their job was to stop anyone looking in the ravine as the rest of the team moved through it (50% effective)

Plane
We did a straight left rush into the town the only trick here was to get people to stay low by the cars then left again up to the plane (20% effective)
It is by caffeine alone I set my mind in motion. It is by the beans of Java that thoughts acquire speed, the hands acquire shakes, the shakes become a warning. It is by caffeine alone I set my mind in motion
