Versus team?

So is it worth having a play with the versus team thingy in L4D2?
I'm guessing that we can set up our team and they set up their team and then we find each other and play?
 
If we can get it to work it would make playing tournaments a bit easier and no faffing about getting the right people on the right side.
It'll also stop interlopers joining the game.
I do exactly what the little voices tell me to.

PC Specs:- Black box with some fans that go whirrr, a few lights, things inside that get warm, headphones, keyboard (a clicky one), mouse (with buttons and no squeak), disks (2-off SSD and HDD) and a monitor of sufficient proportions.

Well what a surprise, the 4vs4 team thing does not work in a nice sensible way. Looks like you set up your team and then you can randomly join another team who are waiting for another team to join them. :doh:
