Tonight's Raid

Would someone like to post up what happened in the raid tonight to cause FatBob to gquit with all of his toons?

I got whispered by Bastet who told me about it and he sort of mentioned in a roundabout way he might have said something which was the straw that broke the camel's back.  

Would like to know details please so we can deal with this.

TBH I think that was probably just the tip of the iceberg as he had been getting stick from Gnowii and others about them not getting in the 10 man raids earlier in the night.  I'm logging off now to try and forget about the whole thing. :sad:

Thats me done here i'm afraid, just had enough esp with all the complaints from Ice last night, then sok and bastet as well today.
 
Basically we had new ppl in a 10 man on a boss we haven't killed no one was really saying anything (that sound fair whitey ?) so i started to say blah blah slime spray blah blah go get the addon that tells you you have the plague that spawns a slime, what to do with slimes etc when the above was posted.
 
BOOM ! that hit the spot i did apologize for the outburst very shortly afterwards, for the record that apology was meant for everyone apart from Val and Bastet !
Both decent players in their own right but too pussy to put up and be an officer, alls nice and easy when all you gotta do is play your toon, always a snidey comment or always shooting someone down in fact in all the time since they joined i don't think i 've ever heard a positive comment from either of em.
 
Think they wanna be chiefs when it suits, but are infact just indians , i understand theres gonna be people like that wherever you raid but sweet joy i will continue raiding with very much being an indian on my mind and let the chiefs get on with their stuff and just do my best to make their job easier as a dedicated raider who knows what he knows.
 
 
I am not going to be asking for a spot back, indeed i kinda feel how Garrit felt when things were not great a while ago and similarly i think some of the new additions like Pandi and Boonity are golden and things will continue well for deadmen.
 
No probs with Gnowai, think we sorted that there and then, he replied in g chat to what i said and i think we are on good terms, people often don't get the other side of the coin and no matter how hard i try i cannot magic some tanks or healers outa my @rse and as soon as i came out and said we are working hard on it he was fine again - another plus for the guild a talented player who cares enough to ask why ? as a top dps'er he was left out of a progression 10 man run for the 3rd week in a row especially as i was asking myself the same question :g:ahh the joys of non officers running a raid.
 
One suggestion to the council is STOP the 10 mans being run by anyone other than an officer (hint: its where we learn to do what we do :doh:)
but make sure they happen week in and out until everyone knows what they are doing. (easy for me to say i know, perhaps i shoulda stopped it when he started hah! hindsight.... shoulda woulda coulda:doh:)
 
I've taken all my toons out as i couldn't stand a slow and painful alt death, probably for the best with a clean break, no issues with guildbank and security etc.
 
I am gonna be making some apps to places sometime soon and we will see what turns up got some decent gear and a good attitude so that should see me right
 
All that remains is for me to say goodbye :crying:
always the hardest bit, so with a tear in my eye i bid Deadmen Raiding farewell, more importantly i bid alot of really dedicated friends goodbye, with whom memories of Naxx and beyond will be treasured forever.

I wished i was there... The family did a suprise visit i had kids jumping all over ect ect

I spat my dummy out a few times I can usualy find it hanging around and do feel better when i found it. We need to think of a way to resolve it as ya not going any place this is your guild your rules

I'm with Jas here, hold fire please. I cannot comment on what went on as I've not been online due to other engagements, but DMR is as much what you've made it as anyone else and if you leave, part of DMR leaves too :crying:

I had a dream once that a guild could just be full of realy funky people having a giggle and still getting the job done    ... Its hard to do but it can be done ...

Mal grab ya wings back if in a few weeks ya fancy somthing else then its our loss... you will get wisperd every raid to see if you can fill a spot for a rabbid dps mage with a massive dong :narnar:

I think there is an underlying issue which needs to be addressed, namely the attitudes of those mentioned above.  Ignoring what FB does, someone needs to sit down with these people separately and have a word with them about the way they project themselves onto others on TS as clearly that was where some of the issues arose.  You cannot have people continually sniping at you from the sidelines.
