every round say's like 790 points or whateva, but no advance on my rank
 
still showin 3.5k outa 6k

why would you launch a multiplayer that fails as bad as this ?? esp carrying the EA "its in the game " label, very dissapointed :sad::sad::sad:

I've not had that problem. I've had the "unable to connect" when I go to log in. It's really annoying. I do still really like the game though.

Any ranked server should be upping your rank, and I've no idea why it wouldn't.

I get the no login thing, where it fails and I have to restart the game. I think it occurs when I cancel the server search in order to select only my favorites.

I also connect to some servers and I get kicked immediately that are up to something with Punkbuster.

The fact you have to manually click login and it goes off and scans for servers even if you have a manually entered favorites is most annoying and time consuming.

I don't get any progress points because I'm crap and always end up on the losing team so don't even get any team charity points :sad:. I did work out how to repair a tank though :norty:.

The EA servers have been having plenty of issues recently Bob - we've all had problems getting onto servers, losing unlocks etc.

Stick with it mate, this game is worth it.

We had a few issues last night but then got about 1 hours good play together.  Still getting my bearings but I think this game once it is a less buggy it will be a great game.

After optimizations and restarts yesterday, we had been stable across all platforms. Unfortunately, we encountered another outage at approximately 9:30 AM PST today.

-     X360 was severely impacted, and the service is being restarted. It should be back online and we are monitoring closely.
-     PC had an outage, but the service is offline currently and the service is being restarted. It should be back online and we are monitoring closely.  We will then start checking the quality of the customer experience to determine possible next steps.
-     PS3 appeared to have a brief outage, but has quickly recovered and the services is functioning properly at this time.


All teams are actively engaged in diagnosis and remediation. We are adding additional services to alleviate load.  Despite having a major infrastructure in place, the peak traffic this weekend has been huge, 400% higher than any other Battlefield's peak simultaneous users. The teams will continue to monitor the services closely. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and will provide further updates on the latest developments as they are relevant.

Game it self ain't buggy but the servers can't handle it. It is just selling really good:

if your thinking that lvling to lvl was slow, its nothing compared to lvl 24 to 25..

Mhhm, my game seems to drop itself to desktop sometime and closes.
Or it freezes up. Any idea on what that's about?

I've had a handful of crash-to-desktop's, usually only at the end of a map.

No freezes though - have you done the usual driver checkups?

I have had full system lock ups whilst play this.  Dont know where they came from or what but seems (cross fingers) to be sorted.

My screen goes black at the start of most rounds.
The HUD is still visible, as are all the name tags and my crosshair.
I alt-tab and after a wait looking at a white screen, it usually comes back,  although I did have to restart the game once or twice.
Alt-tabbing when a level is loading is not a good idea also, as this can ctd.
I've had the latest ATI drivers since before I installed the game.

I have lost 2 of my ranking progression charts (the one you get after completing a map) so I have no idea what I'm aiming for or what progress i have made (for Rcon and medic) the picture is blank and the progression bar is at the start and not moving :crying:It's been like this for awHile now (over a week) Is this a known issue?

The other day all my dogtags were gone and it said I didn't knife anyone. :lmfao:
They're back now though.
I hope they will solve these problems soon, same as the sudden disconnects to desktop....:ranting2:
