Spoken to a GM directly this afternoon, soon after that the GM locked out Gond's account and the account the hacker was using alts on (who were being invited in to take gold, over and over.)

We have popped TL up to a guild leader rank incase such a thing happens again. Giving him the power to remove officers in an emergency. I'm starting to get the stuff back into the bank so it's just a case of Gond getting his account back and it should all be done and dusted

It's weird though. I do scans regularly and i just ordered the authenticator last week.

Hi guys. First of all sorry for all the trouble this caused. Thanks Lee for sorting things out and thanks bigtime for annoying my hacker. I feel like building him a new face atm. I have my account back and reinstalled my ENTIRE pc! Yes: format c:\*.* and all that. All the scanners and stuff from the wow-forums could not find any threats on my PC, so to be sure I formatted the entire thing. Took me ages to download all the patches again and redo my UI from scratch, but that seems mostly sorted now. On my mage I seem to have gotten most my gear back, but my priest and druid still miss alot of their stuff. My banks are pretty much ruined and worst of all, I got kicked from my own banking guild with 5 tabs full of stuff. A nice GM got me re-invited last night, however they can't do much about the contents of the GB. There still was a level 1 warlock in there that had been online only a few hours before, well after my account got frozen I might add. Well, the GM promised me my chars will get their main gearset back, if I provide them with a list. Making that atm, hoping I'll get it back soon.

Well, hopefully I'll be able to raid again tonight. I'm even considering getting a creditcard just to pay the 6 euro for the stupid authenticator. The only good thing in all this is that my hacker seems to have KICKED THE GNOME! First time I laughed after I found out I was hacked. (Sorry Trick, good to have you back)

Good to have you back, hopefully Bankomir&Co. will have everything restored, too.
1) You will feel even better when you know that the gnome has gnome pr0n as a part of his UI
2) I guess you own a cell phone right? So no need for an "hard" authenticator for 6E, just download mobile authenticator, more details here by Halbarad.
