Authenticating players

Guys, at some point in the near future I'll be looking at getting P2 running again.  Problem is it seems to revolve around wonid if you remember.  So it is likley we will not be able to use the current version.

So in short we need to look towards a system that will authenticate users based on their steamID and a database...... just as P2 did using the wonid and a database.

Theres tonnes of mods out there so I'm sure we will acheive this goal.
