Help with custom spray

i followed a tutorial and made a custom spray but only i can see it and it came out blurry

Blurry is just down the the size of the spray, can you post which tutorial you followed?

Some servers are not set up to allow custom decals to be uploaded and downloaded which may be the reason why only you can see it.
If you can see it we can assume you named it tempdecal.wad?

If you set developer mode on "developer 1" you will see all the crappy spam messages the server sends you. If the server refuses your tempdecal.wad with a message like "custom decals are not allowed on this server" then its because the server admins have disabled it (or forgot to enable it)

Firstly. Open the image in photoshop (or similar paint program), resize the image close to 128x64(or80) and then crop/extend to the actual size given. fill in the excess with the image background colour.
Add text when resized to dimensions shown above ..do NOT resize an image which already has text as it will become blurry.
Download wally (normally here http://home.telefragged.com/wally/ google it as the official site appears to be down)
and make the wad from wizard/hl color decal point to where your image has been saved. save to a safe place.
