I've received an email from Blizzard saying that my account's been suspended because of gold spamming - have I been hacked?

Any info much appreciated.

Checked armoury, all my characters are half naked, have been hacked even though I'm away and haven't logged in since Tuesday...

Most probably spam.... if it has a link ** dont click it ** roll your mouse over the link and most of the time its a clearly dodgy link...

if you want - get someone trusted to check to see if your account has been hacked / suspended

I recommend EVERYONE to get a mobile authenticator. It costs 0.5 EUR or 0.5 GBP. You will have to use your cell phone for logging in to WoW, you will fill an 8-digit code that you receive.

no, you dont. You just follow instruction on the page sent the link to - fill in country, brand and type of your phone, operator and your number. Then you pay and you will receive SMS with instructions how to download the Java app to your phone. I think you will have to fill in some form license number of your WoW, too. Then when you want to play, you run this app on your phone. It will generate the 8 digit code which you fill on login screen - there is one more field to fill now with authenticator
