Hi Folks,
 
In preparation for our Scrimm next week and for a bit of a change.. From tomorrow night (Saturday) and until next Thursday (2.9.10) the server will be running Squad Rush.
 
This will shrink the server size a wee bit but don't worry! We always kick for registered members.. Get on TS3 and let the admins know if you need a slot and one will be made for you..

So far there has been some really GG's in this mode. Last night was no exception...
 
Squad Rush is 4v4 and stresses some important aspects of working together as a team. In addition, what I've found is how important the make up of the squad is. Suprisingly enough, also how important it is to have a Recon member in the squad.
 
I'm liking it. I wish we could have SR 8v8 but the game isn't designed that way. I also like the map rotation as it's only a single Mcom and only two stages in a round.
 
For all you trophy hunters, winning a round in squad rush also gave me that tag but I also was awarded 5000 points for winning a round in all modes of BC2. Squad Rush was my last one as I've never played it before..
 
Interested in the other's thoughts too.

I like the way whe played yesterday,but 4 v 4 is like you said bit less fun and the rounds are very short.
I also had 5000 points in one round,i have noticed that you will lvl much faster like the server now is.:)

I'll probably be on at some point Lion, played a bit last night & it was good fun, much like the other guys have said it's a much quicker game & you do really need a good team with you.

Not sure this fits all maps. Once A was destroyed, we all stacked near B, and attackers had no chance. They also spawn quite afar.

What people should not forget is to spawn on eachother.
 
1 bad thing as an attacker on some maps is the mapboundries imo.
Survivor of LAN V, VI, VIII, IX, X, XII, XIV, XVI, XVIII, XX, XXIV, XXX, XXXII, XXXIV and XXXVI so far...

Some GG's tonight!!

All 'n All I think it was successful. Working as a small team forces you to think about the unit selection. Recon is extremely important in this mode.

This has also proven to be a good "breeding ground" for new recruits.

Server has been switched back to Team Rush. After the Scrim tomorrow night, I'll be moving over..
