It wasn't my cup of tea (hugely repetitive hack n slash), but it might be worth a look if you're a fan of the genre.

It's actually the best console port I've ever played.  Actually it's one of the best pc games of this year; a gem amidst all the rubbish that was released.

Control style is good, fps on a 2007 system is excellent.  Sound, story, movies and potential are also top notch.  

There's supposed to be Darksiders 2 coming out in 2012.

I did play it for 1 hour or so,have to say the graphics are just awesome,only the hack and slash i dont like much.

If anyone's interested, I have a save at the start of the game with apocalyptic difficulty plus abyssal armor.

You need to have completed the game and assembled the full set of the armor prior to being able to start another game with it.  Grants passive life leech and increased protection.
