BO Admin console commands

This is to allow you to admin whilst being in game, so now you wont have to Alt-tab

Connecting to Rcon

Method 1:
 
Open up Console tilde key (~) - (NOT CHAT WINDOW) and type the following:
 
1. Type: /rcon host 173.199.77.77:3074
2. Type: /rcon login (Dont use the <> when you executing commands)
3. Type: /rcon say Hi (this is to test that this is working)
 
Method 2 - Prefered method:
 
I wouldn't recommend typing in RCON passwords via the console interface, it's so easy to mis-type the command, then your password gets echoed to the server chat, and everyone sees your password.

I have tested this and works

Here's what to do :-

1/ Open a text editor (I used notepad), in that file add the commands to log in to your server RCON, you do not need forward slashes (/) in front of your commands. Obviously edit the IP/Password to suit your server.
 
Type the following:

              rcon host 173.199.77.77:3074
              rcon login password
 
2/ Save the file from the txt editor as a .cfg file, in this case I've saved it as 'admin.cfg'

3/ Save the file to your COD:BO install/main folder, which on Steam would be something like :-

C:/Program Files (x86)/Steam/steamapps/common/call of duty black ops/main/admin.cfg

4/ Join your server, open the console and type :-

/exec admin.cfg

5/ That's it, you are logged into the rcon. you can test it by entering "/Rcon say Hi" into console

** Note - In step 4 notice that you don't use /rcon exec, because the file is stored locally on your PC, so /exec is used.

I don't know if it was coincidence, (and I'd like to try it again to find out), but tonight, after reading up on the rcon console commands, I noticed that someone said you could connect whilst still in game browser.
so I tried it twice.
both times the server emptied one by one and could not be seen in my favourites.
I did a server restart via Gameservers members area and people could rejoin.
it appeared in my favourites and I could join.

Additional info

the Status command shows all players on the server and their guid/player number , which you use to kick or ban them. but you need to have the console expanded, press shift+~ key instead of just ~ , this shows the console fullscreen so you can scroll through everything.

You can also use \rcon host dmw.clanservers.com instead of the IP  

Interestingly the forum used gameserevers.com not clanservers, but our control panel shows clanservers.com.

Added a second method to joining Rcon during game in the OP, this will prevent any accidental passwords going into the general chat window (something i was scared of doing myself)
