Guys,

Before the forum crash we had a thread going on prizes.

I know TL had a beauty on 50% off LAN fees and accomodation for Lan XX.

I'd like to get this revived and sorted by the end of next week if possible - 4th March.

And a good prize it is too. They also do a 1/24th scale one that is about £15.
 
PS don't forget to include batteries, as it's so annoying to get something you can't play with immediately.
I do exactly what the little voices tell me to.

PC Specs:- Black box with some fans that go whirrr, a few lights, things inside that get warm, headphones, keyboard (a clicky one), mouse (with buttons and no squeak), disks (2-off SSD and HDD) and a monitor of sufficient proportions.

What about Pint Coupons?

Pen, do the Crommie do anything or is there anything that we can organise with them? Perhaps get them to sign a few pre-printed drink tickets that we would prepare and pay for in advance?

We can print off coupons which I can exchange for drinks at the bar as needed. They normally give me an extra card for paying for stuff in the organiser's name. If we put the prizes on that then it's separate from my bill and nicely clean cut and transparent.

I think the cheaper accommodation is great but it'll be a hefty whack. Personally, I'd rather give less but to more people - bottles of wine for dinner perhaps or even a free steak night next time but over to you.

So, what are we doing some people have added things like myself and benny to the game Prizes.  or are we doing beer tokens, I personal perfer the stuff route a badge of honour/ trophy.

I'm trying to think of things that folks can actually use and benefit from. Booze is always good but not "Everyone" is a drunk like Tut and I.

What about £10 Gift Cards for Game or Amazon?

I think there should be anouncement saying there are prizes but keep them a secret if the prizes are other than beer for example.
