4% interest current account from Lloyds TSB

Hey all,

Just a quick note to make you aware of the deal Lloyds TSB are giving on current accounts.

The deal: its a free current account which offers a variable rate of interest depending on how much you have in. Between 5-7k you get the full 4% interest which is the best deal I have come across in a while and is on par with inflation. You need to deposit 1 grand in each account each month but this can simply be accomplished by transferring a grand in then out again. Its instant access and more flexible than an ISA.

You can have up to 3 of these accounts with 4% of 21k. It does take a little management of your finances from month to month, but if you have 3 of these full then you will get roughly £55 a month in interest after tax.

Hopefully this will help you guys with savings to stave off inflation a bit.
